We're sizing down and moving, and my daughters will be sharing a room in our new home. Do you have any awesome bunk bed recommendations? We like them to look very clean and modern - no dark wood.
My daughter hacked the Ikea Kura bed into a bunk bed for her 2 boys when they were small, because she worried about them falling out of a higher, traditional bunk bed.
We have the metal one from IKEA. Modern, sturdy, and very affordable (although we did have to buy a thin mattress for the top bunk - we thought a regular one was too high).
Highly recommend it... But one thing.. like all IKEA products, it was a pain in the @$$ to build!
We bought the Oeuf bunk bed and I couldn't be happier. The design is so sleek and modern and the quality is excellent. Comes in different wood finishes, I believe.
