When do you ladies exercise and what do you do to stay fit??? I'm finding it impossible to find the time and can't stand looking at myself in the mirror anymore!
This is super silly but I turn housework into my workout. If I'm sweeping, for example, I clench my core and really move with intention. If I'm cooking, I do leg lifts in the kitchen. If I'm carrying items from one room to another, I use them like free weights to work out my arms a bit and so on. It's the only way I can fit it in!
Try doing just 10 minutes, 3 times a day. Here's how you can sneak it in: Do squats, counter pushups, crunches, bench dips on the sofa, jumping jacks, walking in place, etc. while dinner is simmering on the stove or when you're watching TV. You can do it! Every minute of activity counts!
We live right by the school, so we try to walk as much as possible. I just recently started driving... and let's just say walking REALLY kept me fit and I hope to get back to it ;)
I feel ya. The only thing I've been able to make work is waking up earlier and getting on an elliptical at home. I try to do 30-45 min then jump into the shower and get ready for the day. It was a bit pricey to buy but well worth the investment. There's no way I would be able to squeeze in a trip to the gym and it's just too disruptive mid-day.
