Cindy Torres

Cindy was born in the beautiful Southeast Asian country of Laos – which she has no single memory of because her family relocated to SoCal when she was only 3 months old. While she went on to live a typical American childhood filled with Lisa Frank trapper keepers and Nickelodeon, her parents raised her to speak Lao like a native, instilled in her traditional values of hard work, respect, and putting family first, and most importantly… taught her how to steam the perfect batch of sticky rice. Today, Cindy lives in rainy Seattle where she homeschools her two kiddos.
