Thank you for all the great suggestions. Theater class sounds like a blast, so do hip hop classes. I just looked up Capoeira and it looks incredible. They actually have a studio that teaches it here in Flagstaff so I'll have to check it out! Thanks again everyone!
Hello, I'm looking for fun activities for my 7 y/o girl. She's open to anything – she's done soccer, swimming, and karate. Are dance/ballet classes still a good idea for this age? Most girls I know who do ballet started as toddlers. Also... is it a good age to learn instruments? Piano, maybe? Thank you!
I give my daughter incentives for finishing her homework every night. If she finishes early, I let her stay up an extra half hour to play video games.
Give them a call as soon as you can. That's not right at all, and I hope your son is okay.
I would definitely stop. That way he can find other ways to comfort himself, and you can stay sane.
I would get creative when grouping the girls during projects. Rather than letting them group with their friends, separate the cliques as much as possible and aim for a diverse group of girls with different personalities. It's a great way for everyone to meet new friends.

I used to ride my bike 4-5x a week before kids. When my daughter was old enough, I got the Thule RideAlong. It's very safe, has a quick release, recline, padded harness, reflector, PLUS it's beautiful. To be honest, I never felt comfortable commuting with her on the bike. I always rode on the sidewalk and never went past 5 blocks. Too scared!
Sounds awful but just trust me. BREAKFAST LASAGNA. Google it please.
