3 Nautical Baby Showers That Will Make Your Anchors Drop

Are you at one with the sea? Do you live to take the boat out as much as possible, bad weather and nausea be damned? If you’re a true blue seafarer and are expecting a little sailor soon, we’re certain that a Nautical Baby Shower will float your boat!

We’ve anchored some really great maritime-style baby showers from Pinterest to inspire you. Get ready to reel in some fantastic ideas!

If you're looking to throw a sophisticated nautical baby shower with a grown up vibe, you'll be inspired by Floral Style's approach to this event. Guests are welcomed to the party with this navy blue backdrop, complete with an anchor display and gorgeous, natural starfish to set the theme.

Tables are gorgeously decorated with heavy sailor's rope, driftwood sailboats, and glass terrariums filled with succulents.

The navy and white celebratory cake contrasts beautiful with its sailor's rope display. Covered in delicately-shaped fondant, anchors and all, it's a delicious way to top off the evening.

Hoopla Events owner Krista O’Byrne wowed us with a nautical theme baby shower for her friend Joanna.

The “Ahoy, It’s a Boy” bash was full of stripes, sailboats, and anchors, with a fitting color palette of navy blue, white, and pops of yellow.

On the welcome table was a quaint little sign flanked by an anchor. I can start getting metaphorical right now, but there’s a lot of party photos to cover, so I’ll carry on.

Sometimes the simplest things can really have the strongest impact. This no-frills table arrangement seriously pops. From the lovely sailboat painting in the center of the table to the fresh flowers and the color-coordinating candle holders, everything just looks so elegant.

Here’s the nautical dessert table. Yes, even the food stayed true to the color theme!

An outdoor fest goes hand in hand with fresh, healthy fare– blueberry parfaits in mini mason jars, anyone?  And because life is all about balance, here are some cookies frosted with anchor and sailboat designs.

This nautical-themed party was put together by Jen Carver from Banner Events. Fun and bright with strong red, white, and blue coastal New England vibes, we feel like we've been transported to oceanfront vacation home. Nautical flags, wooden ships, lanterns, lighthouses, anchors, shells, fish nets...if it's nautical, you better believe it's been included in this party's decor.

Tables were also dressed in red, white, and blue with anchor-printed napkins and plates, bright floral centerpieces, and metal pails filled with treats.

Cupcakes were also perfectly on point, decorated in fondant nautical flags.

Guests also munched on popcorn, cake pops, fruit pies and received tubes of gum balls as a takeaway treat.
