Modern Drool-Worthy Highchairs for All Budgets

Highchairs are probably the most important baby essential for feeding time. But you’ve spent so much time getting your dining room just right that the thought of a behemoth safari-themed chair just doesn’t cut it.

Maybe colorful prints are all wrong for your décor. Maybe plastic simply isn’t your thing. Or the thought of an over-sized, over-padded, obnoxious eyesore that gathers every bite-sized morsel in its crevices just makes you want to cringe.

Your baby doesn’t have to interfere with your design aesthetic. There are plenty of drool-worthy options out there. We love models that look great (simple, modern designs please!), are easy to clean, and grow with your child.

Best of all, they come in a variety of price categories so you could have something both beautiful and functional without busting your budget.

Phil & Ted’s Poppy

Phil & Ted’s Poppy highchair is safe, stylish, and wonderfully easy to clean. Its generous-sized tray wipes easily and is dishwasher safe. The tray can be removed with a push of button and it’s ergonomically designed for baby’s reach.

Its aero core seating is soft and squishy for maximum comfort. There are no tiny crevices here to gather pesky crumbs. It’s also hypo-allergenic, UV resistant, non-toxic, and waterproof! Plus, it comes in bright, beautiful colors like cranberry, lime, and bubblegum blue.

The chair is super light (under 9 pounds!) and can be folded away for easy storage. Dinner party? No problem! This high chair will make room for some much needed adult time.

When your child is ready for a real, grown-up dining chair, the Poppy easily converts into a toddler chair with no tools necessary. So you’ll have this chair for years to come.

The sturdy wood construction and rounded design make it super stable. There is no tray attachment so plan on having your baby join you at the table. Infants 6-9 months of age can use the highchair once you purchase the additional baby kit. And as the little one grows, you can easily make adjustments without any tools.

The chair comes in 5 colors: grey, yellow, red, white, and aqua. There is no weight limitation on the stool so you can use this for years to come, at a work desk or pulled up to your kitchen counter. You will be keeping this one for generations – a future classic, for sure!
