4 Mom-Owned Shops That Totally Get Us

We love supporting moms with shops! Not only are they savvy business babes but they give us fab ideas for outfits, trendy home décor, awesome activities...and they know what’s up. They know what looks good and can last through washes, what’s stylish and practical, and totally worth the investment. Keri, Birgit, Lindsay and Cecile are the founders and creators of some of our favorite mom shops, curating the best of the best for their families and yours. These ladies espouse a love of scaling back, slow-living, and enjoying quality over quantity...just what we need!

@foundcompany

Found | eclectic finds for the whole fam slow fashion + indie brands | new brick & mortar opening in Manchester, CT August 25th! | South Windsor, CT online always. 〰 hellofoundcompany.com

Keri, mom to two little boys named Arlo and Nixon, and married to Adam, features mostly message tees, casual wear, and cozy jumpsuits for the mamas. She has a wide range of adorable options for the babes and soft tees for men. She also gives us glimpses into her life as the curator of Found on her personal feed. Keri’s blog celebrates influential women, and she lends a cool hippie-chic vibe to all her imagery (you’re as likely to see a shot of Bob Dylan vinyl and you are her kiddoes playing hide-and-seek). Found mixes the couple’s love for vintage goods, slow fashion, and indie brands. Their favorite part of their job is having a platform to give back, a bigger voice to get involved with both politics and their community, and the opportunity to support small businesses by sharing their goods with their clientele.

Birgit’s ‘gram features lots of kid models showing off her nostalgic, comfortable, fashionable line of clothing. But you’ll also see sweet pics of her daughter Milla, and hubs Raul. Her shop highlights the best of European design with a handpicked selection of children’s togs, toys, and home goods. Over the Ocean features contemporary yet timeless pieces made with care and skill that are meant to stand the test of time and play.

@shopdarlingclementine

Darling Clementine | Baby Child Mama Home • Est. 2011 www.darlingclementineshop.com

Mom and curator Lindsay Meyer-Harley strives for an ethical and social basis when it comes to choosing vendors for her shop, selecting them not only for their darling styles but their attitude towards the environment, their community, and humanity as a whole. Darling Clementine is her passion, and it shows – we love the images on this feed because it shows how happy and comfortable kids can be in polished outfits. She does a great job of showing the versatility, too – Darling Clementine’s straw hats are just as much fun in the desert as they are the beach.

Her pics range from carefully staged to wonderfully whimsical.
